Admission Guide

1. Project Purpose

To provide financial support and more as a safety net that enables citizens to adopt rapidly advancing technologies during a labor market transition and to pursue independent occupational competency development training in order to enhance lifetime competency development.

2. Project Details

Fixed Term, Dispatched, and Short-Term Daily Employed Workers

– The training course has been approved by the Ministry of Employment and Labor and been designated as a course eligible for support

Supported Target

– Can be applied by any citizen

*However, excluding incumbent public officials, private school faculty members, high school students who are not in their senior year, college students who have more than two years of study remaining until graduation, self-employed individuals with annual sales of KRW 150,000,000 or more, individuals employed in a large-scale company with a monthly salary of KRW 3,000,000 won or more (under 45 years of age), and/or individuals in special employment with an average monthly income of KRW 3,000,000 or more.

Support Limit

– KRW 3,000,000 to 5,000,000 per person and 45% to 85% of the training cost.

* Support 80% or 100% of the training cost for participants of the special class from National Employment Support System Type I and II; 50% to 80% of the training cost for young and middle-aged participants from the National Employment Support System Type II; 72.5% to 92.5% for recipients of Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC); etc.

– Provide training incentives Up to KRW 116,000 per month for taking courses of 140 hours or more.

*Provide support when attendance rate is 80% or higher by unit period (one month) (supports may not be provided or partially provided in case participant has income or receiving unemployment benefits).

Validity

5 years from the date of issuance of the account.
